Locate Retail is delighted to have acted on behalf of Sapcote Group and alongside Rowley Hughes Thompson on the letting of this exciting, restaurant opportunity in Bristol to Halewood. In one of the city’s most vibrant areas, this prominent building became available as part of the restructuring of the Jamie’s Italian business in 2018. Following a thorough marketing campaign, terms were agreed with Halewood, which is the largest, independent drinks manufacturer and distributor in the UK.  Operating from its headquarters in Liverpool, its brands include Whitley Neill Gin, JJ Whitley Gin, Liverpool Organic Gin, City of London Gin, Marylebone Gin, Aber Falls Welsh Gin, Peaky Blinder Gin, Dead Man’s Fingers Rum, Pogues Irish Whiskey, Hawkshead Brewery and Sadlers Ales.

The venue in Bristol will operate as a premium bar where spirits, cocktails, wines, beers and non-alcoholic drinks will be served alongside food. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a drink and food, whilst seeing the distilling process in operation. In addition, one floor will be set up as a bar training school and also a ‘distilling experience’ where the public can enlist for short courses where they can taste & learn about spirits and distilling.
