A new, small format Sainsbury’s Local opened this morning on Friars Stile Road in Richmond upon Thames, TW10. The store has a gross sales area of 753 sq ft, making it one of the smallest in Sainsbury’s convenience property portfolio. The former tenant wished to retire and agreed to sell his lease to Sainsbury’s. We have been the told that he visited the store during its first weekend of trade and was impressed with Sainsbury’s changes to the shop front and layout of the premises.
