Locate Retail founder, Ollie Langston, has signed-up to BarbersRide 2023. It will be his second time at the event which raises awareness and funds for Make-A-Wish UK and Make-A-Wish Ireland.
BarbersRide 2023 will take place on the beautiful island of Ireland from 5th to 10th August 2023.
The mission: to raise over £25,000 for Make-A-Wish UK and Make-A-Wish Ireland whilst enjoying the unbeatable sense of camaraderie that only a motorcycling road trip could offer!
BarbersRide was started by a bunch of biking barbers and industry guys who wanted to combine their love of biking and barbering with a fundraising charity event. In August 2017, the first event kicked off, from Dundee to London over 5 days and was a roaring success, raising over £10,000. Since then, every year has got bigger and better!
To date, BarbersRide has raised over £110,000 with 100% of the funds going to charity. The crew involved in the smooth running of the ride generously donate their time free of charge.
2022 (the ride's 6th year) saw 35 bikers enjoy the ride of their lives, making great new friendships along the journey and raising much needed funds for children with debilitating illnesses. That event raised over £27,000.

Locate Retail has several connections with companies which support the BarbersRide and when he was invited to take part, Ollie jumped at the chance. Of course, if you've met Ollie, you'll know he's rather keen on motorbikes and needs little excuse to go for a ride, let alone support the life changing work done by Make-A-Wish.
